On a recent trip to Great Meadows on a nice summer evening I happened upon three baby rabbits hanging around by the observation tower. The oldest and bravest of the three lets me get right up next to him to photograph him using my new 120-300mm F2.8 DG Lens (1.4x teleconverter used on lower 3 pictures). The youngest rabbit small enough to fit in my hand hides by the fence nibbling on a plant and cleaning himself. While the sibling in the middle hangs around around near the entrance to the stairwell and some chain-linked together.

 Swim Time Stalking this Great Blue Heron lets me get right up close to it, he's concerned with when he can get one of the many carp swimming near it for dinner without getting bit by the other ones  This Heron takes a shit right on the path where people walk no respect, the herons have taken over I tell you  Caught in mid-flight, these birds are tough to photograph

Yummy Lunch at Brueggers Today is Earth Day in case you missed it. Spent the day down in Boston, had lunch in Kenmore ate at Brueggers, Went to the MFA saw a fabulous Samurai Exhibition among other great exhibits. Dorsal fin helmut is appropriate for earth day. In East Asian traditions, the fish is a symbol of happiness, freedom and prosperity. Went for a walk took some amazing Geese shots, Saw flag at half staff outside War Memorial, Moment of Silence at 2:50 was outside Boston Fire Department in remembrance of those injured, killed in horrific Boston Marathon bombings. Love and healing to all those affected .
